At Audiology Medical Services, we are the very first consultant approved hearing healthcare practice in Munster. Why is this important? It means we are consistently assessed and independently audited to prove we follow best practice patient care and adhere to industry standards.
We understand your hearing device is only part of the journey. It’s the way your instrument is fitted that releases your full hearing potential. Our expert audiologists are fully-committed to you throughout this lifelong process. You will undergo regular hearing tests, fine-tuning, aftercare consultations and extensive rehabilitation.
Each staff member continuously up-skills through personal development and training to ensure they are kept up-to-date with the most advanced technology and treatments available.
Continuing accreditation commits us to provide the following to each patient:
At Audiology Medical Services, our memberships and accreditations are a testament to the high level of care we provide to our patients. We are proud to be fully-qualified members of the following organisations:
As an Irish hearing healthcare practice, we often get asked why we are a member of the BSHAA. The answer is simple. Currently, the independent audiology sector is not regulated in Ireland. Being a fully-approved member of the BSHAA means we adhere to UK benchmarks and have met the qualification criteria set by the Health and Care Professions Council which by law regulates health care professionals across the UK.
This is what sets us apart from other hearing care professionals in Ireland. Becoming a member of the BSHAA is a voluntary decision, therefore demonstrating our commitment to providing best practice patient care and continuously up-skilling our team of expert audiologists.
The HCPC regulates health and care professionals across the UK by continuously monitoring their training, professional skills and behaviour to ensure they remain in line with the organisation’s set standards.
AIHHP is a professional association dedicated to promoting excellence in the UK hearing healthcare profession. Offering guidance to all hearing healthcare members, the AIHHP ensures high standards of patient care is maintained across the sector. As a member of AIHHP, we are deemed to provide a higher quality of hearing services than would normally be found on the high street.
The ISHAA represents audiologists working in the private hearing healthcare sector in the Republic of Ireland. Promoting high professional and ethical standards, members actively undergo training in state-of-the-art hearing devices and their proper application.
Our Director at Audiology Medical Services, Charles Lewis, has garnered fellowship status and is also the current Vice President of the organisation. This acknowledges our dedication in developing our skills to supply world-class treatment to our clients.
